Why Peyton can't get it done in the big games

Featured Replies

Peyton could not get it done in this big game because of the team speed of Seattle. Denver receivers could not get separation and D Line was too quick for Denver, thus the confused Peyton face during the Superbowl. I don't know what kind of adjustment anyone could have made if they just cannot handle the speed of Seattle. Speed is now the driving force behind any good football team. Look at the college game now and even look at the high school games being played today. Speed kills.

A lot of people brought up Brady. Brady left 5 Super Bowls w/ the lead or the chance to take the lead in the final minutes. That being said, he is also one very bunk rule from not making it out of Foxboro against the Raiders. The Tuck Rule helped build the stage for Mr. Brady. That and Vinateri having the greatest bad weather kicking game ever.

And kudos to Brady for winning the first Superbowl, but I can't get all excited for throwing for 140 yards, or whatever it was by just dinking and dunking all game against the Rams. The Patriots could barely move the ball all game. That game was a lot more about the Patriots getting after it on defense. Don't forget Ty Law was responsible for one of the TDs. Only 13 points were generated by the offense and the only TD scored was on a short field after a fumble return. And in the AFC title game I am not sure Brady even played half of the game. Now in the other two title games Brady brought it.
