Rod Avery is just as athletic as Marcus Hill if not better he just does not have the weight but he can flat out play. Which is not average to me.

"Just as athletic?"

Rod seems to be VERY athletic.

I just don't see a lot of an offensive game.

He actually has a pretty good mid range game. He is more of a stretch 4 than he is a true post player. Much better shot than both Hill and Chames. Very versatile defensively. His biggest problem is that he isn't aggressive enough with the ball and isn't aggressive defensively. There are a lot of shots that he could block that he doesn't go for like Hill and Chames do. When he plays with "a mean streak" he is very tough to handle.

Athletically, he is just as good of an athlete as Chames. Just not as strong. If he hits the weight room over the summer the way Chames did, he's a top 10 player in the region next year.

Wow! Considering all the material involved, this is some serious wizardry, Walter. Tasteful break in the soundtrack for Chames' dunk, too -- did you pay the drummer extra?

Walter has it right on all of Avery's upsides as well as all of his areas for growth. The bottom line is that he's a junior, Moore and Arnold are sophomores, and Jaiden Greene is a freshman. Chames' and Hill's contributions are undeniable, but Holmes has some talented bigs on the roster for least the next couple of years.
