February 14, 201412 yr Author Recorded "The old man and the sea" and "Pride of the Yankees" today, currently watching "Pride of the Yankees"...love me some old Gary Cooper movies! I decided not to record that one this year and I'm having some regret over that, but I've already put about 15 movies on the DVR and watching the Olympics hasn't helped the speed with which I can go through them. Saturday and Sunday mornings are usually prime movie-watching time, but tomorrow and Sunday I'll definitely be watching USA hockey. Really looking forward to Stalag 17 and the Ingrid Bergman Joan of Arc, neither of which I've seen before.

February 17, 201412 yr Author Made it up to "The Dirty Dozen" which I DVR'ed nearly two weeks ago. This movie is just great.
February 17, 201412 yr I hate that I missed 12 Angry Men, I was wanting to watch it with my son. I guess I may end up buying it. This is one movie that actually had a pretty good remake with Jack Lemon in the lead.

February 23, 201412 yr Author "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" ... Holy Cow. Bette Davis and Joan Crawford are outstanding but this movie is 20 shades of crazy.
February 25, 201412 yr Author Watched Robin Hood with the kids. They loved it. The Errol Flynn one? That movie is great. Claude Rains does a great job as Prince John.
