Anyone catch this game? Interesting after Cooper comes off 2 nice wins vs. Boone and Conner.

This one kinda surprises me. Nothing against St Henry, but I thought Cooper had figured things out. I would have guessed the score the other way around. Girls basketball! You never know what your going to get from one night to the other.

St Henry led throughout I believe. At one point in the first half they held a 15 point lead. Cooper came back in the 2nd half and got it as close as 5, but the Lady Cru held on and extended the lead.

Their full court pressure and swarming defense for much of the game was the key. Cooper could never really get on a roll.

When hitting on all cylinders this St Henry team could make some noise in the playoffs.

Earlier in the evening, St Henry lost the JV game by @15 but the St Henry Freshmen won by 6 to open up the night.

Got some talent coming in to Lady the Crusader program and with one talented Sr leaving the starting line up, the future looks bright IMO.

Paul Sturgeon has St. Henry going in the right direction. He is highly intelligent and will put in the time, St. Henry is lucky to have hired him.

Sorry I missed this one! Congrats to the Lady Cru!

They do indeed have some young talent coming their way.

The IHM 8th grade girls team is either undefeated or maybe lost only one game. I think that almost all of that group is headed to St. Henry.

Yes- I've heard they are doing very well- with only (6) girls no less.

But I'm also talking about some current Freshmen as well.

Overall next year, the team only loses (2) Sr's (one of which has unfortunately been hurt from day one) and has as many as (8) Jr's, (11) Soph's and (9) Frosh moving up- though I'm sure through tryouts & other reasons a few of them won't return.
