Final.

Eagles really starting to hit their stride. Definitely starting to look strong again in year two under David Henley.

What can you tell us about Eastern? Who are some of their better players and who will they have back next year? Also, who are some kids coming up in their program to watch out for?

Like most years sounds like the 7th regioni is very competive. X MO this year has been to stay close and pull out a win in OT. They could not pull out a tough win against a tough 7th region foe.

I believe X is now 4-1 in OT games this season. That is a lot of OT games.

I can tell you less than I'd like to be able to. My schedule hasn't allowed me to see them in person yet this season. I know that they have a couple of talented guards in Austin Howard and PRP transfer Bryce Byrd; unfortunately for the Eagles, both are seniors. Junior forward Trey Moses is a solid player as well but I know very little about his performance this year.

Their leading scorer the past couple of games has been JR Cameron Reed, when he is hot, he can score with the best of them.. They have lost 2 major players for the year with knee injuries but they are not missing a beat.

Cameron Reed is a nice Junior guard for the Eagles, good perimeter shooter. Also have 3 freshman dressing varsity, Sugar Wyche who will start at point next year, Caleb Williams and Jonathan Lane are both about 6-4 and will play alot next year. They get contributions from 1 sophomore number 21. His name escapes me at this time. Moses has had a decent year but is not very athletic.

Kobey Jones is #21. He did not score against X.

That was Saint X's first loss in OT games this year. They now stand at 5-1 in these games.
