Some mental errors by WC at the end, but still managed to hang on. Game changed when Jared Savage slammed one home at the end of the third and WC was able to carry the momentum over to the fourth and pushed the lead out to 11. WC then hung on.

Go Dragons????? I guess.

Mannnn....

It just feels natural.

GO DRAGONS!

Coach Sherrill said that BG lost it at the beginning of the 4th quarter when Rondell Green and Jared Savage took over, and he was absolutely right. I felt like that was when the depth advantage came into play and I saw less life in the legs of the Purples in that span. They picked up the energy again later on, but there was a lot of walking up and hands on the knees at that point.

One thing that could help them with that next time they play Central is if Perry Ayers is healthy. I knew he didn't play but it wasn't until I was rewatching this morning that I saw a boot on his right foot. Provided that's not serious, he'd be a big boost to their rotation if available in two weeks. Hard to go down a man when you already have a shorter bench. I think nine Purples played. Perry posted on his Twitter that he was expected to be out two weeks with a type 3 ankle sprain.

Interesting that it was this close of a game without Ayers playing.
