Hopkinsville 71 Henderson County 59

Featured Replies

Score is nowhere as close as the game was. Henderson's best player fouled out with around 5:00 minutes to go and down 2. Another starter left the game with an injury. I know he was coughing up blood but don't know the extent of the injury was. Hope the kid is ok. Hoptown is as good as advertised and fun to watch.

Simmons?

It was a much closer game, actually tied at the start of the 4th quarter. I don't have the actual free throw stats but I think at one time Hoptown was 2 for 18.

Dannngggg....2-18?????

Yes Simmons fouled out at around the 3:30 mark with Henderson down 2. Hoptown pulled away after that. Kaleb Duckworth left the game late in the first half. I don't know what was wrong but it looked like he was coughing up blood

Henderson, along with Madisonville have given Hoptown scares the past 2 years in the regional tourney. Hopkinsville plays Madisonville tonight so that will give us an idea if the Maroons can stay with them.
