Final per the scoreboard in the championship game of the Bracken County Christmas Tournament.

Didn't catch this game, but did see games involving Nicholas,Newport and Pike and Nicholas County winning this tournament was very impressive. Any stats for this game?

Nicholas wins first tourney in quite some time. Jackets led in scoring by tourney MVP, Tyler Newton, with 26 points. He scored 24 in the second half on 20 of 22 at FT line after being moved to point guard spot at half. Nicholas only played 5 players all second half until 11 seconds to go. Scott Keaton had a huge game with 19 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Tyler Newton scored 76 points and Scott Keaton added 47 points for the tourney. First three games that Nicholas has been able to dress all of its players. Still have two players (Duncan and Saunders) coming back from injuries that caused them to miss multiple games in tough losses to Pendleton and Silver Grove.

Congratulations to the Blue Jackets!!!

I was surprised (Shocked) to see that they beat Newport, however winning this tournament certainly validates that win.

The fact that they have player who were injured returning explains the loss to Silver Grove.

Jackets led SG for almost 29 minutes and went cold shooting. SG made FT's down the stretch. NC missed some shots they would normally make. Have had consistent play from Newton, Fryman, and Webb in first 9 games. A consistent Keaton and a healthy Duncan and Saunders makes them a legit team.

Nice run by Nicholas County this week.:thumb:
