Great night for Ruth. 20/10/7 is strong.

I like Scott a great deal, as a guy and as a coach, but that quote made me cringe.

Not shocked by their coach's comments on CovCath's physicality. I'm sure he is bitter after two missed front ends, but the "a lot of breaks went their way" comment is not what I'd expect from a leader of young men.

A losing coach should not ever speak for at least 24 hours. Just saying.

To be honest, they have been very, very kind to us in allowing time to practice and have gone out of their way to help us in any of our needs. I am sure the Riverview staff is just upset with the loss as this is the second straight they have not won their tourney and this is the 22nd year of it being played!

Not going to get into a arguement with you over Coach R statement but who do say our offense centers around?

Any thoughts TOG on their upcoming opponent?

I didn't question whether or not everything revolves around Nick, that goes without saying. I'm not sure he has to go out of his way to showcase (in print) his son more than he already does, why not just credit the TEAM, or, if you want to throw some love to a kid, how about a freshman who hit a HUGE shot.

If you read the NKy.com tommorrow you will see that (if they print it) I told them about CVH shot and in the KyPost they didn't print what I requested them, about Parker Keller playing so well.

Just because the paper didn't print it, doesn't mean he didn't say it. Again I asked the John Laub of the Kypost to put in some love for Keller but they didn't but if you noticed I did on BGP's. If there is nothing about CVH in the paper on Sunday, it wasn't because I didn't ask them to mention it. They, the reporters choose what they want to print no matter what the coach or in my case the guy who called in the stats says!

What was wrong with what Coach R said to make you cringe? Nothing wrong with what he said at all.

two good guards a pretty good forward. Low on bench strenght but then again what do I know! :-)

A coach should treat their own offspring like any other player. If Nick were not his son he would single him out the same way Booher does Beetle at Holmes and the same way Ken does Hatton at Dixie. Just because Nick is the coach's doesn't mean he should not be singled out. CCH would not be anywhere near as good as they are without Nick.

I sometimes wonder why I bother to call in the scores! Not a word about the OT and how CVH scored the tying bucket as the horn sounded. Now I understand the limited space in the printed edition but in the on-line edition. :idunno:

Heck, we are undefeated with a great team, who needs press clippings?

Appreciate the stats TOG, enjoy the game and bring home a winner on Monday. Tip of the day, Sun Block!

Go to Turtle Beach Pub on the south end of Siesta Key. Cool little place.
