Saints ice-cold in loss to Polar Bears

Randy, when I saw your prediction on this game in an earlier thread, I thought you were way off. Giving bracken County the nod by only 4 points. I thought it would be a bigger win for the Polar Bears than that, even though I wasn't sure what Bracken had this year. But it sounds like Crawford is a pretty solid player. Congrats to him on a well played game.

As far as food and concessions go....last time I was at St. Pat for a game the popcorn was burnt. And Hoops, mcRib with a peppermint mocha doesn't sound like a very appetizing combination, but to each his own!

I based my prediction off seeing St. Pat vs. Augusta & Bracken vs. Bath, but then factored in the Saints win against Paris, which really surprised me. After I saw both teams play I thought Bracken was 10 points better, but the Paris score threw me for a loop, which is why I made it closer.

 

Polar Bears defense was really strong, especially on Sticklen who had been dominant in the first two games. They made it difficult for him to catch the ball down low. The Bracken County front line of Steven Cummins, Ryan May, & Scott Fite played really, really well on the defensive side of the ball. Having said that, the Saints really struggled to put the ball in the basket all night long.
