December 7, 201312 yr The only game I seen Keenum play in, he played better in that game then Schaub has the whole season. 11 game losing streak doesn't help either Schaub was much better than Keenum on TNF.
December 7, 201312 yr Fire the coach that almost died on the field, stay classy Houston. Sure its all his fault your players suck and play like their just collecting a check. Couldn't just wait till end of season. Houston is just like Cleveland, doesn't deserve an NFL team but gets one out of pitty.

December 7, 201312 yr Schaub has been pretty horrible this season... Is it all his fault though? He's been more consistent than not over his career.
December 8, 201312 yr Author Is it all his fault though? He's been more consistent than not over his career. He has been good over the years but this year he's been horrible. Houston's ownership must have seen something in Keenum for them to name him the starter the rest of the season..
December 8, 201312 yr He has been good over the years but this year he's been horrible. Houston's ownership must have seen something in Keenum for them to name him the starter the rest of the season.. I don't think it's that because Keenum isn't better than Schaub. Schaub isn't healthy and the Texans suck, writings on the wall for him to be gone.
December 8, 201312 yr Schaub has had a strange season. He started off very hot then the turnover bug hit and it has never left. I know of at least three or four games that he's tossed a pick with the game in balance.

Houston's ownership must have seen something in Keenum for them to name him the starter the rest of the season.. They've seen enough of Schaub and want Keenum to validate the need to invest in a first round pick.
December 8, 201312 yr They've seen enough of Schaub and want Keenum to validate the need to invest in a first round pick. That's my thoughts. Keenum doesn't have an NFL QB's size and arm.
