Congratulations to Coach Maile and the Lady Tigers! Coach Maile gets a win in his first game as head coach at Beechwood. A very strong season opening game for freshman Allie Johnson, leading the Beechwood scorers with 30 points. Sophomore Macy Stuempel backed Johnson up with 18 points.

Beechwood played very solid. The Johnson girl had an unbelievable first quarter and was very impressive throughout. Too many turnovers for Dixie and excellent free throw shooting down the stretch by Beechwood kept Dixie from being able to make a run. Tibbs was tough inside for Dixie. (25 points and 11 rebounds)

Looks like Tibbs had a big game. Are we looking for a bit of a breakout season for Tibbs?

Agree, very nice win for the Tigers!

Maile can coach. He ran my daughters AAU team one year and I was very impressed. Congrats to the tigers.
