RACELAND — Raceland’s been razor sharp on the football field lately, but where are the razors?

 

Secondly, who knew Rams head coach T.J. Maynard had hair?

 

After sporting the Mr. Clean look for 17 years, Maynard is getting some strange looks from others.

 

Most are just now discovering that baldness is no trait of the coach.

 

Grayness? Well, that’s another story, but it’s not from locker-room stress.

 

The bearded Maynard hasn’t picked up a razor since the first week of November, a day before Raceland began its historic playoff trek, to be specific.

 

The 6-foot-5 former offensive lineman made a deal with Raceland’s front five that none would shave until the season ended.

I would 2C, but the hair is fine on the head of Coach Maynard and the faces of the teenagers. It's there but we have to have a special lens to capture it.

Ram..btw, I wonder if they will make the correction that Raceland winning the Region this season, it will make the Rams the only 1A team in NEKY area to have won a Regional Championship clear and free of any illegal players, forfeitures from rulings handed down that affected that team in Westwood 2012 season ? I'm just sayin'. :idunno: .
