Did you watch the game, or are you just speculating? Louisville didn't get back in transition, and they paid for it. Had nothing to do with fouls.

Maybe them playing a little better team yesterday had something to do with it.

Shouldnt the NBA have 7?

HS 5 fouls for 32 minutes

College 6 fouls for 40 minutes

NBA 7 fouls for 48 minutes.

Again... Yesterday's outcome had nothing to do with the fouls... I simply mentioned yesterday's game because it was the first that I remember a UofL player fouling out this season. In the very first exhibition of the year, the officials called 13 fouls before for the first media time out...

Cards are a pressing team. When you cant be physical in the press it allows teams to beat it easier. Should have never pressed Carolina anyway. They loved to push it up the floor but thats another topic.

Wow. Can't have a sensible discussion without folks taking shots at UL.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Yes. 6 fouls please. That way Duke can at least try to play defense.

Louisville has been successfully pressing teams for years and it's worked for them. Carolina is not even close to the best team they've tried to press. They simply didn't get back in transition. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is impossible to play defense a whole game without contact. Add a foul.

I listened to the 2nd half on the radio. Sounded to me like UNC threw over the top of the press when they beat it. I guess if UL could hand check then UNC wouldn't have been able to throw over the top to beat the press. Is that what the haters are saying?

I guess... :lol2: When Louisville shot, the corresponding UNC player ran up court, and Louisville didn't cover them. It was blatantly obvious to see going on, UL just let it happen out of laziness.
