[h=2] Russellville @ Mayfield updates[/h]

Mayfield gets the ball 1st and puts a pretty good drive together, but, forced to punt on 4th and 11 from the Panther 45..

 

On the punt, Wynstra fumbled the snap and Russellville got good field position at there own 45..

 

On the 2nd offensive play from Russellville, they fumbled the ball back to the Cardinals..

Mayfield moves backwards and forced to punt on a 4th and 20..

 

Russellville also goes backwards on there next possession and forced to punt and Mayfield has it back in good field position at the Panther 45 yd line.

Mills picks up 20 but its called back on another Cardinal hold.

On 1st and 13, Mills picks up 1 yd.. On 2nd and 12, an incomplete pass.. On 3rd and 12, Guhy to Bacon for 13 yds and a 1st down for Mayfield..

Guhy to Crumble all the way down to the Panther 11 yd line.

On 1st down, Mills picks up 2 yds.. on 2nd down and 8, Guhy hits Reed for an 8 yd TD pass.. PAT is good.. 7-0 Mayfield with .19 secs to go in 1st qtr..

7-0 Cards at end of 1st qtr.. Russellville will have a 2nd and 5 at there own 25 yd line to start the 2nd qtr..

The Panthers lose 6 on 2nd down and on 3rd and 11, they pick up 5 to the 24 yd line, setting up another Panther punt.

Mayfield has good field position again at there own 48 yd line.

On 1st down, incomplete pass by Guhy, on 2nd and 10, Bright picks up 8 yds to the Panther 44 yd line, on 3rd and 2, Russellville jumps off sides for a Cardinal 1st down.

Mills for no gain on 1st down, On 2nd down , Mills picks up 27 yds to the Rsv 18 yd line for another Cardinal 1st down.

 

A gain of 5 on 1st down, Guhy to kennemore for a 5 yd pickup, bringing up 1st and goal from the 7

A bobbled snap recovered by Mayfield, but a loss of 7 yds. On 2nd and goal, Guhy to Crumble for 6 yds to the 8 yd line. On 3rd down, another incomplete pass, setting up a 24 yd FG attempt which was good...6:21 to go in 2nd qtr, Cards lead 10-0
