As to the last part of your post...

 

I was watching NDA play in the regions (against Highlands I believe?) and heard a boys player who was playing the next day in the regions say "man, I'm pretty positive Notre Dame would beat us."

 

When I heard it I stopped for a second and then realized he didn't mean that as a lack of confidence or a knock on his team but merely that NDA is that good.

I think you have lost your mind.

I hope this is all tounge and cheek. I would be highly surprised if any girls team could beat a boys team at the Varsity level. It may sound sexist but there is so much more than soccer skill involved when you look at the way they play.

 

NDA is a great team. They aren't going to go toe to toe with too many boys teams though.

I would have to agree. While NDA is a good team there are very few boys teams they would hang around with outside of Holmes, Villa or Latin.

 

Any of the top 5-6 boys varsity teams would beat them easily.......possibly by double digits. I think there is a major lack of understanding of the difference in physicality, speed and strength on the boys varsity side vs. the girls side. I am hoping the post was made in jest....

maybe they wouldn't have to play each other, they could just settle it with PKs.
