Henry Clay 55 Madison Central 6

Tough season for Madison Central, but I have a feeling they'll be back soon. They lost a lot to graduation last year and schools just go through these cycles sometime.

Hats off to the Seniors they had this year who played hard and stuck it out.

JW, that being said. Hearing rumbles of Browne being out. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Heard it all day and to night by several different people.

Haven't heard anything personally, but I'm also in Texas right now.

Browne seems like a good coach, and I'd think if they ran him off because they had a bad year this year given the talent that they had last year as compared to this year, they'd be making a mistake. If they fire him, I can see him going somewhere else and winning.

As an outsider who watched 1 game a year against Madison Central I believe Brown is a good coach. It does not seem to be a coaching issue at MC. It seems to be a body issue. To compete in 6A against the Bluegrass area 6A teams you need full squads on both sides and less two-way players.

I hope this works out.

Bluegrasscard, I agree but seems Browne is the reason for this. I mean look at the talent that has gone to Madison South alone. No reason why that school shouldn't compete regardless of the class.

Looking out on the field Friday night, Madison Central was playing a bunch of freshman and sophomores, including starting a freshman quarterback.

Building for the future in Richmond.
