You are correct, a long way to go. Good luck to Mayfield as well. We'll see what has happened in four weeks.

Without seeing most of the teams ranked I won't argue any of this. I think that Pikeville should probably be a couple or more spots higher, Williamsburg may be somewhat underrated, I could be wrong but I believe that this Williamsburg group is the same group that won a jr. high state championship over the same Raceland group that are currently seniors and juniors. Again, I haven't seen most of the teams so I'll trust the BGP rankings. I agree with Ram in that Raceland is peaking, have been steadily improving since the loss to Lawrence Co. and are playing their best football now.

 

This is the same Williamsburg group, but they have added some really good players into that mix. There are 3-4 who played on Corbin's championship middle school team that transferred to Williamsburg and they also added a very good QB in Dalton Sizemore, who did not play middle school football at Williamsburg either.

 

They had some injuries earlier in the year and now appear to be healthy and ready to make a long playoff run.

Would love to see Mayfield and Raceland play. The one game that I have seen on the web of Raceland their O-lineman liked to look around and see where the ball is instead of finishing their blocks. Seems that they have fixed this. I like it when we get to play teams that I haven't seen in person play. Good luck to both teams.

Honestly, I believe it'll come down to Mayfield & Pikeville. these 2 teams have very explosive offenses and both do it on the ground and through the air. They have the most balanced offenses. I could see a game like that ending up with 100 points or more. I don't think that's a real good matchup for the Cards either.
