I see this Trinity team just as any other Trinity team the last 12 years . . . Playoff time is a little different than regular season. To eliminate the defending champs will take a huge effort. It would not surprise me one bit that Trinity ends up winning it all again!!!!! Beaty will work his magic and the rest of the contenders will wonder what happened . . .

So, to clarify, RockPride wants clarification on Loose Rhythm's loosely worded confirmation of his aforementioned prediction and comparison of the actual score; and AvidTiger wants clarifications of thsrocks summation of the final Harbin results which have several teams seeded in succession not expected by some due to the previous pontification of many as to the perceived strength of Moeller.

The Ohio AP poll has Colerain #1 with no major injuries. Harbin has them at #6.

 

Moeller is #5 AP statewide and #2 in their half of state per Harbin rating, with no major injuries.

 

Cincy X is number 15 per Harbin with their best defender and best running back sidelined.

 

My opinion is Colerain is much closer to Moeller than Elder. Cincy X is better than many of the schools ahead of them in the Harbin rating, even without their two studs. Harbin system of points awarded for wins by defeated opponents and secondary points for wins by defeated opponents' opponents with the size of school factored in is a bit numbing.

 

Add one more round of games and all of Division 1 would be welcomed into the playoff fray. Just as KY has done in 6A. Then all of the Ohio big schools could afford to play wide open schedules.
