36.

That's what I thought. In either case, I wasn't at the game and have no clue why they would go for 2 if it only put them up 35. If it did put them up 36 for the running clock, I would have no problem with it. Get the clock running so there are less chances for injury.

Oh. Guess I didnt think that one through.

No good answer.

I'm a bozo sometimes. I misread TOG's post. I thought it said the run failed.

It was indeed 53-20 before the XP. Not sure why they went for 2.

If Highlands went for 2 up 33 late in the 4th, you know what would hit the fan. I thought it was bush league.

Bush league is a bit much but it's a fair question to pose.

Just jumping in, and the late two point try stood out, though I don't want to jump to conclusions.

How much time was left?

Is the running clock started at 36?

Could it be CovCath has an "automatic" call on XP's based on the alignment they see and the players just bounced to that?

Was great to see Luke Bir, Evan Braun and Christian Stewart back and playing some! BTW in the game thread Clyde mentioned (#30 Red Wags) Alex Wagner getting hurt but he is fine and should play next week.

Couldn't have been happier to to see Luke Bir running again. I know they were working him in slowly, but he ran with power. Can't wait to see him full go and enjoying his senior year at last. In the meantime, Darlington has gained invaluable experience and learned what has to happen to succeed at the varsity level and having those two in the backfield will be a great thing. Crossing my fingers for Adam Wagner to make his comeback and for his brother Alex to get better for next week. Braun and Stewart looked great in their full time returns. Braun had some terrific catch and runs over the middle.

I didn't know Pork Chop was also hurt this year....wow that is a big loss to CCH earlier in the year without him. Glad Christian is back if that is the case.

He is back, foot injury and he got hurt if memory serves me correctly, in I believe the Moeller game, which was game #3!

Oversize teddy bear of a young man, who always has a smile on his face and who does very, very well with his studies also but warning, as you stated, don't get in the way of him and his food! :lol2::thumb:
