Columbus Bishop Hartley 10/2/2013 Would make a good game- Highlands, Cov Cath or Dixie Heights

WEEK TWO Friday Sept. 5, 2014

Dayton Thurgood Marshall (Two-year contract)-Would make a very interesting match up-Simon Kenton, Male or Trinity

Dale already called them, they won't play...Good stuff though, keep looking. :thumb:

I am not shocked the #1 voucher program in Ohio would back down from Highlands.

(I started a thread on the Ohio site, where the Harley coach post. With the info here it should make for some interesting comments from the Hartley fans)

5 teams I would love to see Highlands play(doubt it will ever come to be)

1-Steubenville

2-Massillon Washington

3-Cleveland Glenville(Best open enrollment all-star team in the state)

4-Kettering Alter

5-Winton Woods

I do not think any of the five have the nads to face Highlands.

I would give Alter the best shot at not shying away, if I had to pick one of those schools.

Looks like I rattle a chain of at least one Hartley insider as they are saying Coach Dale never called Hartley.

2014 Hartley schedule with open dates

Next years schedule looks like this:

Week 1 Open

Week 2 at Coldwater

Week 3 at Marion Franklin

Week 4 at St Charles

Week 5 Home vs. Thurgood Marshall

Week 6 Home vs. Watterson

Week 7 Home vs. Bishop Luers

Week 8 Open

Week 9 at DeSales

Week 10 Home vs. Ready

Harley contact number Phone: (614) 237-5421 Fax: (614) 237-3809

Let's get this game scheduled.

Raceland will already be playing two Ohio teams next year in the second year of a two year contract: Ironton and Coal Grove. The Portsmouth West and Symms Valley games would be a good fit for Raceland though.

2014 is second year of a two year cycle for KY schools. I know Highlands has a ten game schedule set with week zero being the team from Florida again.

Maybe when Dake called he got a vm and didnt leave a message.

Have Hartley coach call Dale, that would be my best advice:thumb:

Like Coldhard stated, unless something changes, Highlands is good for 2014

I have nothing to do with any program here in Ohio.

I was bored and looking at open dates and decided to make a post on match ups I thought would be good.

One thing I would be willing to bet on is that Mueller will never agree to another game in Columbus after the debacle at DeSales several years back.

Can you say what happened?
