Great win for Gallatin. Sets up a huge game next week vs. Walton for 1st place in the district.

If I am not mistaken senior wideout Nate McCoy had a TD reception, rushing TD, and a kickoff return for a TD for the third time this season. And for good measure he also had 3 interceptions and blocked a PAT...

Nate hasn`t done to bad this year. He`s only had 2 kickoff returns for td`s. 98 and 91,9 ints, 14 tds, and 626 yds rec. But being from Gallatin County, that doesn`t get noticed by many.

Gallatin County senior wide receiver/defensive back Nate McCoy had a tremendous all-around performance in the Wildcats’ 48-13 Class 2A, District 5 win over Carroll County on Friday night with a touchdown receiving, a touchdown rushing, a touchdown on a kickoff return and three interceptions on defense. He now has nine interceptions on the season. According to the KHSAA record book the single-season record for interceptions is 16 by Bell County’s Harvey Miracle in 1987. The most in a season by a Northern Kentucky player is 13 by Conner’s Jim Dorton in 1980.
