Stating obvious ... but Tierney (#3) is tough. Many good players on the field tonight for both sides but it's easy to like her game. Quickness, ball control, and passing (direction and touch) stood out. I don't recall a pass of hers that didn't connect with its intended target.

I was very impressed with the Zimmerman girl from NCC. This girls seems to do all of the little things that seem to go unnoticed at times. This kid plays with a TON of heart and never takes a minute off each game. I haven't noticed her name in the press a lot but after what I have seen, she is very responsible for a big part of NCC's success this season and just wanted to give her a little shout. After her play in the All A this past weekend and to look at a very nasty scare on her leg, there should be NO DOUBT how important this young lady is to the Lady Breds!!

Way to go Loren..... Keep up the hard work!!!!!

How about Zimmerman's ability to launch the ball on a throw in?

She has the ability to change field position and even create scoring chances from the sideline. A great advantage for the Breds.

Her throw ins are unreal. Haven't seen to many players throw the ball in like her....boys or girls. Gives them a huge advantage, just as good as a corner kick. She is the enforcer on that team.

Does she do a somersault throw ?
