How often does Highlands play on grass? I know there are more turf fields up North.

Last week on JH and this wk PT, my son told me he loved it and wished he could play on it more often than not.

Randy Wyatt really showed a lot of respect for Highlands. Randy is old school and really likes a well coached and well disciplined team. Congrats to Highlands on the win.

 

It is a shame that Highlands has to come all the way down to Western Ky to fill out their schedule. I honestly think it would help a program to play Highlands. More times than not it would be a loss but maybe they can see some things that Highlands does that would help their program.

A top notch facility for a HS imo. Huge stadium and I did not see it but I was told the baseball facility is really cool, old school baseball...:thumb:

 

Very disappointed in the PT turnout as they maybe had a 1000 fans in the house. I was talking to a PT guy and he said the "community has been divided" over the opening of the new McCraken Cty HS.

Apparently, a "bowl game" was being played amongst 6 teams during the day and locals chose those games in lieu of a possible blowout by Highlands.

 

IDK, I know a lot of people missed out on the best game in the area last nite and would have been extremely proud of their hometown team...Just sayin

When the game was first scheduled, the Paducah games were the only ones in western Kentucky on Saturday. Then several schools postponed Friday's games to Saturday which meant people went to games in Mayfield (huge rivalry) and Murray instead of Tilghman/Highlands

I know a lot of Mayfield fans who were going to the Highlands/PT game until Mayfield rescheduled. The crowd size for PT has been a problem for them for a while now. Mayfield had more fans at PT when we played them in our 100th game with them.
