Lawrence County (4-1) @ Raceland (4-1) / predictions

Lawrence County rolls in to Raceland's Ram Stadium for what should be a very good football game. LCHS is a high scoring team that is going to really test the Rams defense. Both schools have a very long and proud winning tradition. This one should be a good one.

Any Thoughts / Predictions on this showdown ?

Raceland 28-21.

This should be another physical battle. LC's only loss is to Fairview. Playing back to back close physical games only helps prepare our boys for District play and the playoffs.

Last year, this wasn't close. We blew them out. This year, I expect a closer and more competitive game. I still think we will win but I'd be shocked if it's by more than 2 scores.

This one pains me now that I have started for Raceland more than I have before. Lawrence County is my favorite team in the state, so I as always I am rooting for them. However I see the Rams taking this one by, 20 points.

I have all the respect in the world for Lawrence, I pull for them every week but this one. We have discussed before on here of all the great, hard hitting"football games that these two have played. This game goes way back, they were playing when LC was Louisa H.S. and Luke Varney was the coach. Great football.....CLEAN, hard hitting "snot knockers" from start to finish and I don't see why this one would be any different. Respect all the way around.

Absolutely doc. Rams, don't let all the buzz/homecoming talk cost you this one. LCHS is a good football team, you let everything going on distract you then it's not going to be a very fun dance after a loss. :stop:

Newark Catholic plays on Friday and it is a must win against a 3-1 D2 school. Newark Catholic is D-6, a win here is a must for them to keep their playoff chances a live. I can't miss it.
