Haylee & Dallis are still together and playing on Cincy Doom Elite...organization has 2 18U teams for the first time, Elite & Gold.

 

They went to the Marshall University team camp a couple weekends ago. They will be playing in the Ohio Outlaw Fall Brawl, Stingrays Fall Showcase & Tennessee Explosion tournament. Doom is also holding a Doomsday event of their own where college coaches have been invited & Doom teams will be playing each other.

 

Also good news for Doom...Kennedy Baugh is playing on one of the 16U teams. Not sure what their fall schedule is.

Nashville Tournament of Champions

Went 5-1-1 to win the 18 division

 

Oct 11-13 Top 50 Showcase, Its at the Midwest Sports Complex in Indianapolis which I hate with a passion. Worst place for umps I have ever seen. Bunch of crappy high school umps who can't keep up with the speed of high level travel ball.

Oct 25-27 St. Louis showcase. Heard there are about 200+ college coaches there. Might have to play at 8 am on a friday.

Nov 1-3 Scenic City Showcase in Chattanooga. Don't know much but its put on by the Tenn. Fury so I figure it will be good.

Nov 9-10 Atlanta Legacy Showcase. If its anything like the summer showcase will be another great tournament to be seen by coaches.

 

Most of the girls on the team are from western Ky. Have one girl from Greenwood. Their undefeated state championship rings are nice.

 

You better hope you don't run into my team at the top 50 or that will be an L for you guys!!

 

St Louis, Scenic City and Atl Legacy are a couple of the best tourneys in the midwest for the fall season. Most people around here have no idea how important fall ball is for recruiting.

 

Chattanooga is my favorite place for softball outside of Cali.

It's just fun to see you two (SF14/JMU) alive and well on the board.

I joke that I have always been on "poor teams" bc a lot of the familes we have played with over the years do have to make real sacrifieces for their daughter to play. I think we always worked together to make it happen, I know I have shared a lot of hotel rooms over the past to help keep cost down. We always tried to have cookouts at the hotels to save some money on food we would try to car pool and so on. There's a lot of things you can do to try and keep cost down but in the end it's still expensive.

I want to watch your head spin off at the umpires at the Top 50. Shelby had played there three times and the umpires are horrible. If you coach third Shelby will be instructed to " accidentally" take you out on any foul ball near you!!!

Yeah, we haven't paid a dollar for books, her dorm, schooling or food. She got all her money from athletic's, let's hope she hits and fields the ball enough to keep it that way!!!

We have been to Midwest sports a bunch over the years, played their 3 times already this fall. Umpires suck everywhere.
