Just listening to Coach Steve Mickey on the radio (former Belfry defensive coordinator) and he said Coach Haywood was pleased with the week of practice the Pirates turned in this week.

Coach Haywood apparently thought the kids came in celebrating their big victory a little but they quickly got down to business and "improved more this week than they had in all the time since the beginning of the season".

If that is true and it translates onto the field, then this should be a good night to be a Pirate.

Coach Mickey and Bobby Norman will be broadcasting this game live on http://www.wdhr.com (then click on Listen Live) if you want to tune in for a very professional, well broadcasted game. Bobby is a seasoned play by play man and Coach Mickey brings a coaches perspective to the commentary that you don't get just everywhere.

Coach Mick and Bobby both commented on Southwestern's size and how much bigger they are than Belfry at most positions.

Big fan of the Belfry broadcast team... they do a great job and try to hold the bias back
