How about some preventitive care, a.k.a. teaching people how to eat?

To put it bluntly absolutely. Just because you and many others didn't and don't get them annually doesn't mean it was smart. Physicals are not costly and in the long run it's just stupid not to. I'm not saying we force people to do it but if you don't I question your sanity.

I used to not. Not until well into 30s or around 40 did I start to have regular physicals. And of course us over 50 males know what that milestone means....:lol2: If you ask a young healthy single male person if they worry about an annual physical. I would bet most do not. But when they get married, have kids, etc. they will then do it. Come to think of it, getting married and having kids may be a common source of hypertension!

From 20-25 I never even thought about going for one. My wife made me go last year to get one. :irked:

I never said everyone does. I said they should. And I think the milestone you are talking about starts at 40, 2 more years for me :wideyed:

And your blood pressure was probably fine.....till your wife started putting pressure on you to go.....always have to wonder which is the chicken and which is the egg....

Wait till kids start bringing home every disease under the sun. THAT is when you have start going to doctor regular as a parent.

Especially twins. They are generally born premature and then prone to strep throat. Rough first 3-4 years.
