Congratulations to Pendleton County on the win. Considering Dayton's situation with having 21 players and 5 seniors, which 3 of are starting, I would experiment with a lot. 3/4 offensive linemen are freshmen and one is a sophomore. I heard this from one of the youth league coaches.

This was a fun game to watch. Both teams were fairly evenly matched...at least for the 1st half. PC shot themselves in the foot several times on special teams, giving Dayton a short field on more than one occasion. PC's slight depth advantage started to take it's toll in the 2nd half, not to mention a game-ending injury to #4 (Dayton's QB). There was a Life Squad checking the young man out as we left the stadium.

Pendleton started out so slow but really picked it up in the 2qt. I like the offense they run, but are in drastic need of a long snapper. I believe Dayton would have only scored once if not for PC bad snaps on punt attempts. Dayton plays hard but the offence sets they run is just terrible!!! Kind of reminded me of Bellevue 90's type of playbook. Playground formations pretty much. It was an exciting game for these two schools and an entertaining one to watch. Congrats to Coach Brown and the Wildcats on the win!
