September 9, 201313 yr Lakers make the lottery. For some reason I think the Lakers will be better this year than they were last, just a hunch. That all depends on Kobe playing 80% of the games and being healthy. But with Mike D's system, I think they have the shooters they did not have last year. They picked up Nick Young and a host of other guys who can at least score and hit the three. They got a lot younger and a lot more athletic. Pau can go back to being Pau, and they also came away with Chris Kaman to bang down low. Only question mark is Nash, but at least they got Farmar back. I never understood why they let him walk in the first place, he seemed like the perfect replacement for Fisher (at least at the time). It wasn't until he left LA did people realize he might suck, always looked great playing on those Laker teams.

Agree 100%, while it's certainly not perfect this team is much more suited to run MD's style.
