Because both teams struggled on the boards, and both teams played good defense.

Shocking score to me. Not the winner, but the low score. Good win Pats.

Kcc showed good athleticism against the cougars .. Limiting key players shots was surely the key last night at the complex.

LCC played their worst game of the year. I think they were 3 for 24 from the 3 pt. line. Both teams played good defensively but LCC could not get a shot to drop. It was like watching UK. I still think LCC will make it to the regionals.

You have to say Kcc put the pressure on them.

Is Alex Williams still playing for Letcher?

Alex Williams and Montana Gibson both quit recently as well as Adam Sexton.

Alex will be missed expecially in close games because of his free-throw shooting. He shot over 90% from the line.

Does anyone know why tthe Williams kid quit, he was a very good player. But he wasn't having the year I had expected for him to have, all in the same I never like to hear about a player quitting a team for whaetever reason. I hope it wasn't out of frustration.

I don't think his heart was in it anymore. He was getting plenty of playing time but he just wasn't having any fun. The other boys mainly quit because of playing time - they were starters last year and played the majority of the game. They will all regret it later in life.

KCC played really good defence in this game. Letcher just couldent seem to get open looks. KCC was getting some open looks on the other end but couldent knock em down. Despite the low scores, both teams played hard and it was a fun game to watch.

Losing two or three prime time players would hurt any team. I think this takes LCC from being a contender to the middle of the pack.
