Raceland opens up at home on Saturday, Aug.24 with East Carter. Who wins this one ? Any thoughts on this game ?

 

 

Note......This will be the Raceland Football H.O.F. game / weekend with the initial induction ceremony at the "Rams Reunion" earlier in the afternoon.

This season I am breaking my policy of not making any predictions on Raceland games. That superstition of mine has not brought a Regional or State A Championship so I am changing. lol.

 

Raceland will win this one going away.......40-6.

This can be a very, very special season.

How good of season can it be ? That will be determined by the players , their dedication and just how bad they are willing to work to get better every day.

 

Rams....you know what it takes, are you willing to work that hard each and every practice, every game of each week?

As of right now you haven't accomplished one thing more than countless other Raceland teams have done and I, as of right now am calling out every player on this 2013 team.

I am not going to do much of the "pep talks" , You guys have been through a lot together and you know what it will take , so....... Talk is cheap.....Prove It !!

The two previous years I have come down to watch the opening season games, I have been treated to blowout games.

 

This opening weekend I am taking in two games and I hope at least one of the two games are close.

I guarantee you will be entertained. This will be a great day of football with the Ram Reunion starting at 2pm and the inductions beginning around 3 or 4, tailgating at 5 and football at 7:30. Get your rest.

It won't get that out of hand. Especially with the new 36 point running clock rule and the fact that Raceland will try and evaluate some players against another varsity team that normally wouldn't be playing on Friday night.

Beatdown....young guns will get a lot of reps Saturday.

I just heard that East Carter will have 3 players eligible that were not eligible for the grid vs Greenup Co. From my source, one is probably the starting QB. Anyone else heard about this?

I know they had three that were not eligible at the time of the grid. They are probably eligible now. I say, true.
