Excited to see the pads popping. Really looking forward to seeing the big boys up front for Creek. Looks like an old school Tates Creek O Line, Big and strong. Looking for some good, clean, injury free football for both teams.

Discussion, predictions......

Both teams should benefit from this matchup. It helps to see good competition early to see what parts of your game needs extra work. A blow out in a scrimmage or early games never provide this. It looks as if Tates Creek is ready to be a contender again in their district and among the city teams as well. Boyle should provide them the competition they need for their tough schedule. I look forward to seeing this game tonight. It is at 6:30 I believe?

Yes. I think it's 6 or 630. Yeah. Should be some

Great competition. Creek is a little banged up but I'm sure Boyle is too. Good to hit someone other than yourselves sometimes.

I'm intrigued by this outcome. I know next to nothing about Boyle and TC seems to be headed in the right path. Definitely a good test for both teams to see where they currently stand. Kudos to the coaching staffs of both schools to make this scrimmage happen. It will help both teams in the long run tremendously IMO.

Good stuff. I agree.

I will come back and give a synopsis of the game and anything I can see from both teams.

Much appreciated.:thumb:

Very good and effective scrimmage for both teams. Boyle County 31-28 over Tates Creek. Saw some very good things from both teams and was a well played, seemingly injury free scrimmage. Good stuff

By well played, I mean that both teams obviously got to work on things they wanted to see. Was a lot of rust and mistakes but all in all, a very effective scrimmage

Who played QB for TC?

Who played QB for TC?

Rotated the QBs. All 3 got good work in.

Creek rotated lots of players and held some olayers out tonight. As I'm sure Boyle did. Was a very positive scrimmage.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a fun game to watch. Boyle scrimmages are usually blowouts. Very good to see them get a quality opponent and pick up a victory also. Considering that I know next to nothing about Boyle this season I am excited to see it was close and that Boyle won. I feel better already.

Good luck to Tates Creek this season!!! I'll be watching!!!

Was Boyle effective passing the ball? How did their QB look?

I really liked their QB. Threw the ball well when they threw it and with a strong arm and accurate. They basically threw 1 pass play that was very successful all night. And that was a play action series with a QB boot to a combo route of a corner route and dragging either a TE across in a waggle route or a back out of the backfield.

Really liked the Boyle QB.....nice player. Ran pretty well
