I need some help here BGP peoples in the Danville/Boyle County metropolitan area.

 

Questions:

 

 

Is it true the Stuart Powell Bowl is no longer called the Stuart Powell Bowl because Stuart Powell pulled their sponsorship?

 

What day is the Stuart Powell Bowl supposed to be on? Friday or Saturday?

 

What day is the Pigskin Classic on? Friday or Saturday?

 

Aren't these bowls usually on the same day which in the past has been Saturday?

 

What teams will be in both of these bowl games? What matchups are we looking at this year?

 

 

 

 

Can anybody help me out? I know partial answers but not whole answers. I need some whole answers.

I believe the Danville bowl is Friday night. I seem to recall Clevenger mentioning it in the paper. Garrard plays Glasgow in one game while I think Danville plays Mercer.

 

The Boyle bowl has Lincoln, Frankfort and Bourbon (don't quote me) and is on Saturday. I'll check on the matchups.

Lincoln County plays Bourbon County on August 30th according to Lincoln County's Hudl schedule, so I'd say Frankfort isn't in it. Warren Central plays Boyle County. I've gotten mixed information at times, but the online schedules I've found have all had the game scheduled for August 30th. But the bowl has always been on a Saturday and I saw a paper article mentioning Danville moving theirs to Friday to avoid conflicting with Boyle County on Saturday. I'm all spun around.
