December 21, 201312 yr Author Alice in Chains/Dirt/Side One Side Two/Columbia Records Released September 29 1992... Can you say masterpiece???
December 23, 201312 yr Been a good vinyl night: "Shotgun Willie" by Willie Nelson "Lonesome, On'ry and Mean" by Waylon Jennings "Quarter Moon In A Ten Cent Town" by Emmylou Harris The sad thing is those three albums crush anything that shows up on today's "country" charts, and at least two of the three aren't even the best albums by those artists. There's cases to be made that there are 2-3 better albums than the Emmylou offering, but I'm a big fan of this one. Country music fans should demand better than the garbage they're fed now.
January 1, 201412 yr Just a music video and not a whole release: Love this song... So unique... so haunting... so emotional... so infectious... Saw these guys a few years back. Great show... When dressing before the show I felt the urge to wear a brown/tan flannel shirt as I try to typically dress where my vibes are taking me for the sake of getting me in the mood to feel one with the show. The band takes the stage, and except for the lead singer who was wearing a dark cowboy shirt and dark jeans, the entire band is wearing brown/tan flannel shirts. I didn't make of point of finding them afterwards to have them take notice of what a co-ink-a-dink it was, but if I was aiming to feel one with the band, on that given night I nailed it.
