June 30, 201313 yr Too many automatic outs in the lineup. 91 runs scored in 27 games in June, 3.37 runs per game. If you take away the one game where they exploded for 12 games against the Cubs they are averaging 3.03 runs per game. They have been shut out 4 times this month (not counting today). They seem to be able to play with the also-rans but aren't as good as the other good teams. In June they were 5-2 against the Cubs and Brewers, 7-12 against the teams with winning records (pending what happens today).

Their best record vs. a team that currently has a winning record is 2-2 vs. the Indians. Every other team that they have played that has a winning record has a winning record this season vs. the Reds.
