Is this the young man that came from Holy Cross? If so, he was ruled ineligible by the KHSAA for the 13-14 school year. I believe Holmes is still fighting, but the judgement has been decided.

I won't go in to specifics because It's not my place to, but Markel will be ruled eligible when it's all said and done.

That's fine. But it will make it easier to sag off and help on Bolden than it was with Quan sitting out there as a threat from deep.

Glover and Housely should fill the shooting void left by Coston and Palmer. I don't know if they can be as consistent, but both looked really good when I saw them the other day. I believe Glover had 8 or 9 3's combined in the two games. Housely is almost automatic from the corner and wing.

A kid I really like that could be huge asset off the bench by seasons' end in a shooter role is sophomore Ian Brolley. I watched him score 9 straight in less than a minute in the JV game against Taft. Very smooth shot.

You don't have to go into specifics, we know he will be eligible - it's the KHSAA - there are no enforceable rules regarding transfers.

Good trivia question: Who is the last HC/Holmes transfer ruled ineligible? Has it ever happened?

On the girls side, Deja (sp?) Turner is transferring back to Holy Cross from Holmes.

Poster child for the HC/Holmes transfer farce. Impetus for my question.

Yes he is left handed but prefers to shoot right. I've watched him play since about 6th grade. He fits well with Holmes quick game pace. I'm sure a bunch of Holmes fans are hoping the transfer is approved. Not sure of the situation. I do know his sister is still enrolled in HC & will attend HC in the fall.

Markel's sister isn't going to HC next year either.

Knowing the situation, Markel will be fine on eligibility.

Ok Ill let you say whatever. I know different.
