Got to see Grant County today. I saw you Redhawknation sitting in the stands. Any way you join your buddies staff?

Not as of right now. In the middle of getting my masters and don't know if I have time to really commit. He has a few candidates: 1) GC grad and excellent player 2) former player if his at Ryle 3) Assistant coach in Louisville

I don't want to give names until he finalizes them. I think he'll have a good staff maybe not complete until August though.

From what I heard, anglin didn't always start. And that is just my opinion, families best interest or not. It is 6 months out of a year. The kid should stay in school where he has always been. Leaving now is ridiculous.

If you were to have a shooting contest between Carr and Cummins. Cummins would win. GC is faster without Carr.

I have been a Grant County fan for years and this post is one of the reasons that I will not attend any more Grant County games. Selfish and Jealously sums it up. I want the kids to do well but between jealous parents and non supportive administration is a recipe for disaster. The one thing that I appreciated the most about Coach Hicks was the fact that he did not let parents run the program and even though he did not have administrative support he still ran a top notch program.

100% Accurate statement.

Cummins shot 36.1% last year. Carr shot 40.2%. Cummins was pretty muched matched up man to man all season.

Carr on the other had was face guarded and double teamed all season. If Grant had someone other than Carr to step up in the district championship they would have been district champs! So don't go down that road!

I only saw Grant maybe 10x and it seemed that they forced the ball thru Carr instead of giving anybody else a green light. Cummins will have a great senior season. I've coached and watched enough basketball. I'm not a jealous parent. I think Carr is a good kid just no different than any other kid on the team given the chance!!!!

If you aren't a jealous parent then why make such a statement about Cummins being the better shooter? That was the whole mentality of the GC team the last 3 years that Coach Hicks was there. Those who felt slighted by not getting the minutes that they thought they deserved because of who they are. This thread is about Coach Grammer being the new coach at GC, not whether Carr is coming back or Cummins being better.

These sound like the comments from the same parent who said they hoped Carr didn't break the scoring record at GC.

Cummins can defend. What Carr's defense like? From what I saw, he always guarded the other team's 5th option.
