Incorrect, 1 was earned in the 5th on 3 hits from the 6,7 & 8 batters. The go ahead run was unearned E-4 from Smith's RBI

Both pitchers did a nice job tonight. Both pitched good enough for the win ! Difference in game was a couple defensive mistakes for Boone and a couple missed opportunities on offense. Great season by Boone. Not sure the girls name that played right for Boone tonight but she made a couple of nice plays on D.

 

Could not agree more...right fielder made a play on NDA's first hit in the 5th that saved it from being a triple.

Hard hit ball two steps to her left that goes off her glove into the outfield.

I think it hit her glove for sure because it only rolled about 15 feet into the grass. We had a similar play this year @ Bracken where we got called for interference for running in front of the shortstop as the ball went by.Kinda what happened tonight for there first run. I like the no call tonight !

I didn't really see the interference, (not that it didn't happen just didn't see it) but even if it didn't hit her glove which I am sure it did still an error. It was two feet from her, was hit hard but not that hard.

Base runner studder stepped long enough to let ball go by her and then took off for third. Great base running on her part.

I agree ! It was hit hard but if she catches it flips it to 2nd for the force inning over!

Congrats to Boone County on a great year, they were one hit or one play away from winning this game. Knowing Coach P a little I am sure he doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for them but to be in that district and not making the tourney then when they do play a great game in the opening round against the favorite and coming up just short sucks.

 

Dallis was very good, through 4 I think she had only thrown 33 pitches and was perfect. She did what she could do to keep her team in the game.

From where I was standing it didn't look like it hit off her glove, but it was side view for us. Don't think any of us in bullpen saw it as an error. But mine could've been due to the tears from DK holding our girls down!!

Your right Dallis some innings only had to throw 6 to 8 pitches . Glad I made the trip to NKU tonight it was a good showing by both programs !

It didn't hit her glove. She lost the ball when the runner impaired her vision. It went by her before she saw it again. She's my daughter, I wasn't able to attend tonight's game so I asked her after reading these posts. I hate that I missed such a good game. Congrats to both teams on having very good seasons!
