May 31, 201313 yr 'Liberal Activist' Admits to Bugging Mitch McConnell's Office 'Liberal Activist' Admits to Bugging Mitch McConnell's Office | The Weekly Standard The person who made this recording is Curtis Morrison, he has been active in Louisville politcs for years and he and Shaw Reilly started a Super PAC to raise money to defeat Mitch McConnel. He used to post on a now defunct website called Louisville History and Issues.com that I posted on also. If you log onto the site (assuming the old posts are still there) you can read his posts, his screen names was "My Opinion Matters" or it might have simply been Curtis Mortison, I don't recall. He drove several of the posters crazy because they felt his posts were very whiny in nature. He is an odd bird to say the least. It is funny how he justifies what he did as ethical but I would be willing to bet had someone had done the same thing to liberal Louisville US Congressman John Yarmuth, he would have had a stroke and would be calling for charges against who ever did it. Because the newpaper he used to write for fired him over the recording incident, he now has a site for donations to support is legal defense fund.

Such as leaving out the part that says he just over heard the conversation and just recorded what he heard on his flip phone. Not what people would consider "bugging" an office.
