JV Championship- Beechwood vs. Ryle Predictions

Featured Replies

Should be a very close and exciting game tonight. I expect to see a pitchers duel to be the deciding factor. Game is @Dixie 7:00 pm

Ryle has won 6 straight and 11 of last 12 and is clicking on all cylinders. They have a ton of pitching available for tonight's game. Not surprisingly, I will go with the Raiders in this one. I most certainly do not expect Beechwood to run-rule Ryle as predicted a few days ago by another poster. :sssh:

Who said that? And i do remember saying that i dont think anybody can stop beechwood but tonight will by far be there toughest game.

Can it get that much tougher than last night??

Very true last night looked tough for the Tigers.

After Beechwood beat Highlands, i'm confident to say that they are the best JV team, not out of the teams left, i think they are overall the best. If they play how they played vs Highlands, they will run rule Scott and Conner/Ryle.

Didn't exactly turn out to be a run-rule win against Scott and they will not run-rule Ryle tonight.

Not much tougher, but I'm guessing they consider their recent 1-0 loss to Ryle a pretty tough game. :sssh:

I agree 100%

Just curious, and not that there is anything wrong with it, but how many juniors start for each of these teams JV? Just trying to get a feel on how young is team is.

Not sure of the makeup of the entire lineup, but I do know the beechies have started a freshman on the hill each of the last two games.

Rundle, Allen, and Burns

Nice win Ryle. Congratulations. That game was everything we expected. Well, except for the result :).

What a great JV tourney. Some really good games this week.

Beechwood, I have really enjoyed watching you guys play. Impressive pitching and great hitting all season long. Be proud of yourselves.

Any stats on the game.?

Don't have any exact stats, but I was expecting a pitching deul between Ziegelmeyer and Hyde. But both were roughed up for 4 runs. Then we saw a pitching deul between the two relievers. Ryle got a walk off double in the bottom of the 7th. What a fun game it was to watch! Congrats to the Tigers on a good season and congrats to the Raiders on an awesome win and season!
