District Seed games must be played by this Sunday, at the latest, Per KHSAA regulations. They must be playing this week sometime.

Clyde hasn't been on his game this week, so below is the correct information of the game....

 

This game was suspended by over 12 lightning strikes that were seen by the Gentlemen in Blue starting in the bottom of the 3rd inning.

 

Play was resumed at 7:05pm with Pangallo up with one out and Atkinson on 1st base with a 3-2 count. Pangallo walked and then Zalla came to bat with runners on 2nd and 1st and with the count at 3-1 when the game was halted once again by lightning and due to the time of the evening, it was decided to suspend the game.

 

The game will resume with Holy Cross leading by a score of 4-0 with CovCath batting in the bottom of the third. There is one out and CovCath has runners on 2nd Atkinson and 1st Pangallo with the count to Zalla 3-1. Niehaus is on the hump, replacing Cox after the long lighting delay! Game will be resumed on Monday with the 1st pitch @4pm @ CovCath

What about the post above that says the game must be completed by Sunday?

After doing some research, I believe the final date for seeding reads in the KHSAA guidlines "seeding games must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the week of the District Tournament". I gave out bad information in my previous post.

Lets say this wasn't a seed game, play was suspended, would the stats still count?

If it wasn't a seed game then it would be an official game so , yes, the stats would count.
