A-Rod's new 10 year deal with the Yankees is by far the worst contract, as well as Barry Zito. I think it's too early but definitely not looking great thus far.

With Hamilton I feel like the common statement was that the Halos paid too much for him. So far they've spent like the Yankees but have gotten the results of the Blue Jays

May 6, 201313 yr That's just a dumb comment, yes they will. Have you seen the Reds farm system, its crap, they have maybe 6-8 guys that might make it to the show that's it. You think they can afford to resign all these "quality" players and keep them. How is that doing for the Yankees and Angels with all those big contracts.

Well for the Yankees signing their young talent like Rivera, Jeter, Posada, Williams, Cano and Pettitte lead to 5 World Series in 14 years. So there's that.
