The machine that is the Greenwood Lady Gators

Playing on a team that dominant gets boring as heck . It actually makes for a long year. Totally different circumstances but our school is very very tiny .. 110-125 kids in grades 9-12. We are D4 in Ohio. Play in a small school conference with 6 other teams . All 6 other teams are gosh awful . Our stats against them are similiar to what Greenwood is doing to their opponents . And it stinks. Who wants to play a game where you know its going to be a 5 inning affair and you dont have to bring your A or even B game ? In our case the competition stinks , is Greenwood playing good comp ? League games that have to be scheduled ?

Mandan difference Greenwood plays a good schedule I think they are just that good, they have produced plenty of good players over the years Rachel Riley UK pitcher and #4 hitter last year was one of the latest really good ones.

I don't know a lot of schools but in the western part of the state but there is some good ball being played there. Just to help you out a little Greenwood beat Bullit East by 12-1 Bullit East got beat by Mercy 3-2, Mercy beat our buddy's at CNE 4 or 5 nothing and it sounded like it was lucky to be that close. (I think CNE lost 3 out of 4 that weekend only beating the only OH team they played) Oak Hills has lost to a couple Ky teams I think this year, and we know how good their pitcher is. Some good ball being played around the state!

That being said I agree it would get boring winning so big every game, but I wouldn't mind trying it for a while against good comp.

I'm familiar with some of greenwoods players as well. How would the matchup of greenwood and NC Hoover turn out?

Two very dominating teams from their respective states. That would be fun.

Yeah Dan, Greenwood is good, and they have a few real studs. They have that winning culture there. Some in their bunch on our side of the fence can be a little grating from time to time, but they're program is effective.

I was a little surprised by the scores from the OH teams that came across the river over the last few weeks.

I have no clue but I would love to see it.

Heard Greenwood was ranked 21st in the Nation....That's impressive.....If they don't win state I will be shocked....very shocked....

Sounds like if they don't run rule everyone in the state tourney that may be a bad game for them.

I started to put that but I didn't because everyone shows up come tourney time but still if they aren't crowned champs at the end of the season I will be shocked as everyone else
