Yes stearns is playing with the magic 15u. I haven't seen any other Wayne Co kids on any AAU roster's. I agree that PG will be the biggest question mark for Boyle next season. I think Chapman Bean will end up being the PG and Hagen will slide over to SF. Josiah Robbins and Keagan Hinkle will battle for the other starting spot. Been told Tristin Morrow is not playing next year. I really expect Hagen to take his game to the next level. He had a really good sophomore season but next season is when I think he will explode. I'm not just saying this because he's my nephew but you would be hard to find a player that has worked harder since the end of last season then Hagen.

I haven't watched Chapman Bean as much as you. Can he run the point? He'd be my shooting guard. He'd be my Cory Jones/Justin Short type player in that offense. I know Keagan is playing this summer. I'd let him and Josiah battle it out for the PG spot. Can Chapman handle the ball like a PG?

I don't think Josiah can run the point. I would put him at the 2 guard. We really need keagan to step up and take over the PG position so chapmen can play the 2, Hagen the 3, and Colton and Micah inside. The PG position and the bench is going to be a big question mark. Maybe we get lucky and get a good player transfer in. Lol

I just don't think Josiah can handle the ball good enough to play the point. Ideally keagan steps up and takes over the PG but he lacks experience. I would bring Josiah off the bench. Interested to see how it plays out

No doubt. I feel the same about Chapman's ball handling skills but I admittedly haven't seen Chapman run the point a lot so I can't truly make an informed opinion. I know Josiah was the point in middle school so I just assumed he'd take that role in high school also. Especially since he isn't needed at SG. You are right though, ideally Keagan can run the point. Summer camp will tell a lot.

The level of play at the PG position may very well make or break the year for the Rebels. It's unusual to see that kind of size (and scoring potential with Tyler) on a 12th region team with such a question mark around guard play. With a good PG, that team could elevate to the top (of the region). Without, I think it will be difficult for them to get there.

I do kind of agree. After what Brett Jones did this past season I will say that Coach Adams may find a way to make it happen at the point. I never expected Brett to fill at the point guard position as well as he did this year. As long as Coach Adams is there then Boyle will be in good hands.

I heard that Colton Elkins is at 6'6"-6'7" now and has grown since the season ended. He's believed to stop growing when he hits 6'11".

 

I also heard that Micah Miniard may not play next year but I'll add that I'll believe it when I see it. I was told he has an offer from WKU to play baseball and may not lace them up next season on the hardwood. We'll see. If everything I am hearing about Elkins is true it may not matter but this team is obviously better with Miniard on it.

With the continued development of Elkins along with Miniard Boyle will have a very good inside presence. I think Miniard had a great season last year. Gotta remember that was his first taste of varsity basketball and playing predominantly inside. He played more on the wing at Garrard. That helped develop a nice little 15ft jump shot. Look for Elkins to have a Breakout sophomore season much like Tyler did last year. Don't be suprised if Hagen averages close to 20 ppg and over 5 rpg. Its all gonna come down to the PG however. That is the most important position on the court

I can confirm that as of today Micah Miniard is not playing basketball this season and that is not expected to change.
