I finished the campaign. Played a few squad games. The multiplayer quest begins tonight.

 

 

My son went. 28-2 in his first squads match. I went 8-8.

It's fun and much better than MW3 IMO. I had to quit playing last night after a half an hour or so because the lagging was killing me. I am not a rusher when I play so I am digging the large open maps.

What's weird is COD: ghosts is supposed to be in dedicated servers but I've seen a lot of stuff that shows otherwise.

I thought I watched a video and it said something about dedicated severs only being available on next gen consoles. I think the current models have dedicated service which is different. I'll see if I can find it

I think I like the game but it's still kind of frustrating at this stage of things. It does seem like there's some lag at times. What's also on some of the maps I really don't like the color schemes they used to opposing teams colors that makes them blend in and get an advantage. Right now I have really good games with 20+ kills and then I have my sub 10+ kill games which are really frustrating. I'm kind of anxious to see what level of gamers are on the next gen consoles for this game when the Xbox One is released in a couple of weeks.

Tonight I jump in to regular multiplayer. Probably start with Domination. I'll probably play with my clan, but if you're on send me an invite and if I have room we'll pick you up.

I played last night for a couple of hours and had my best outing yet, a couple of games with 10 & 12 kills (yes I'm no good). All of the sudden I got kicked from a game, lost internet connection, and all my stats, kills, and XP were gone. Just like I never played last night.

The SatCom is supposed to be like the UAV.

Based on what I can tell the Satcom is rather useless by itself but if you have multiple team members that put them out at once you can see the enemy through walls and stuff.

I've been using the AK-12 with the VR scope and the armor penetration.

 

It's not too bad of a gun.
