The word floating around Fort Mitchell is that Allison McCarthy is being fired and she will be on of the last people to know.

 

Is this just haters rumor-mongering or is Beechwood at it again?

This would not be a shocker to anyone, including McCarthy. She wasn't able to complete her masters requirements in the time frame required so she is no longer teaching at Beechwood. That happened last summer. My understanding is they gave her a year to get her masters requirements completed. Maybe she hasn't been able to do that?

I am glad to hear she got the masters work completed.

I am completely out of the know but I thought I heard she was fired months ago. Then again, maybe I read it on here.

Then that is very likely the reason she is no longer the coach, if that report is accurate.

Well, as I said above, she didn't teach anything this year due to losing her certificate. But when certified and teaching, she teaches Phys. Ed.
