Who does he play for during the summer? And congrats on him getting a scholarship! Do you know where he is going?

Thomas Baumann from Ryle is a heck of a hitter. Fast and smart on the base paths and can hit for power as I think he has or is close to the school record for triples.

I'm not sure if this was the case or not but last year Nick was in the biggest mental funk I have ever seen and this year he is flat out confident and killing the ball.

 

Baseball is a very mental game and some kids mature earlier than others and if a player continues to use excuses then he will never reach his potential. The player has to "block out" distractions and just play hard and focused.

 

In this case, if Nick did let the "coach get in his head" (which I'm not sure that was the case) then he has matured and just played hard and is doing great. Keep it up Nick, I'm for one pulling for you!!

Fogle would be my #1 and the rest of the top can fight for their place in line
