Wow, what a score. Thought it might have been machine pitch for a minute.

This game was played after the Varsity and it had to be difficult weather (cold) to play in. The first post says "misplays" were taken advantage of so I assume a number of errors. There were throwing errors in the varsity as well and the Conner/Boone varsity box score showed 9 errors in that game so it sounds like a rough night all around the area.

 

The young Jag's have a solid team so I'm sure they will bounce back.

The score was actually 21 to 14 and ended after 5 due to darkness or lateness.

It couldn't be called due to darkness as CCHS has lights. There was an agreement before the game that they were going to play 5 innings due to the weather (cold). The game did not get done until 10:15 or so.

Seems like a reasonable agreement to me. I really like Campbell's field, but it does get windy. Couldn't imagine what it must have been like last night.

Nice complex, but infield grass was way too high and grass down the base paths reminds me of tee ball.

The official score was 21-12. The score on the board was incorrect. The coaches met before the game with the umpire and agreed to the 5 innings.

The scoreboard was incorrect throughout the night due to mechanical reasons. You say 21-12, We say 21-15 (I like our book better). Either way it would have been nice to finish out the game, but I understand that it was too late for the boys on a school night.
