She precisionly hits my daughter too often which by the way is not cool. Even said she was gonna do it last year

Also forgot to mention that both pitchers in this game did a great job. Gallatin's Nichelson buckled down and got some tough outs, as did Carroll's Hawkins.

Tensions tend to run high in this LONG running district/border rival. I believe they have been in the same district for well over 40 years. Sometimes competitive juices tend to make it seem like things are done intentionally when things just happen. I certainly hope the hit batter is ok and doesn't miss any time.

I was told this morning that Carroll was not missing any key players. Their infield was in tact so I can only guess that any girl missing was an outfielder .Didn't Odgen come into the JV game,along with other Varsity starters, only after the team was losing this game? Not trying to take anything away from the hit, but if it was as severe as you say, how did she manage to come in and pitch the JV game?

I can't attest to what was or wasn't said, but when working the inside corner that is bound to happen...maybe time and time again. I'm sure it can seem purposeful if that is the case. It sounds to me that your issue is more of a personal one and as parents and players, you should keep that stuff off the field and just play ball.

That is funny there. What really happened was that the ball slipped out of her hand and rolled half way then hit a dirt clod and bounced up and grazed her shirt sleeve.

Yeah, no place for that in high school sports. The next Gallatin/Carroll matchup will be Aprill 11 at Gallatin. They could also potentially meet in the 8th Region All A two days later at Trimble County. All in all, these two teams could meet up a total of five times, depending on the All A, NCKC tournament, and 31st District tournament. One thing is for sure, it's never boring when these two play.

Carroll should have bunted with one out, then not bunted with 2 outs. I think Kenzie's arm may be broke by the way it looked this morning. If not she will pitch next game against Gallatin, at least to one batter.
